Court Booking FAQs:

A: No, our facility is open to the community to use. You can hire courts, join any Group Coaching Sessions or have Private lessons without the need for a membership.

A:  Simply click the ‘Book a Court’ tab from the above menu. You can book and pay online. 

A: Yes of course, we have a range of Tennis and Padel rackets and balls that are included in the court hire cost.

Membership FAQs:

A: Please see the link to our membership page here.

A: Of course, we welcome everyone. It is a £6.00 guest fee for all non-members for Tennis and £5.00 for any guests playing Padel. 

Coaching FAQs:

A: We have a range of Adult Beginner group lessons which are always a great place to start. These sessions are fun, social and everyone is in the same boat. Visit the timetable on our Adults Coaching page, here you can also book sessions. If you’d prefer some private lessons before joining group sessions, these can be organised also, just contact the club.

A: Our Mini Tennis programme caters for children from 3-11yrs. These sessions teach children the fundamental skills for all sports, not just Tennis. We have lots of different days and times to choose from, you can book your place online via the Mini Tennis coaching page. If your child is at secondary school, we also have a full Junior programme for 12yrs plus, which covers all ability levels, check out the Junior tab from the menu above. 

A: Anyone attending a coaching sessions just needs to bring themselves and a drink. We provide all equipment, we have a refreshment bar, toilets and changing facilities. All we ask is that flat soled trainers are worn, so no running or walking trainers / boots.  

A: We have 15 competitive teams, so there’s a team for everyone at STC. We have men’s, ladies and mixed doubles leagues that all members can get involved in. We also have lots of players who play socially, the club can help set you up games with similar ability players, plus a monthly American Doubles tournament. 

A: Simply contact the club and we can point you in the right direction.

A: We will always contact you 45 minutes before a session is due to start if we need to cancel due to weather. We do try our best just to ‘crack on’ where possible.

Holiday Camp FAQs:

A: Of course, your child gets to choose! We have Tennis and Football available all day, plus multisport including fun games such as dodgeball, tiger – tig & tug of war, athletics and basketball are also added in the afternoon.

A: Yes, lots of the activities are game based and the main focus is about having fun in a safe and friendly environment!

A: No, please ensure your child is sent with a packed lunch and a drink. We do however provide a snack at morning break.

A: All the children will be split down in to KS1 & KS2 and then split down again in to age ranges. Don’t worry, if your child wanted to stay with siblings or friends that are older or younger we won’t split them up!

A: From experience we have found that children who are 4 and at school in reception enjoy camps better and get more out of the sports / games. Therefore, we only take children from reception upwards. 

A: Your child should be comfortable. Trainers are advised, or enclosed flat shoes. We always say layers are a great idea, in the colder months we can be both indoor and outdoors. 

A: We have guaranteed use of the indoor sports hall at Sandylands. Plus, our clubhouse is fully heated for the colder days.

A: Head to our Holiday Camp page and book your place online. There’s options to pay at time of booking and pay on the day via card or cash, we want to ensure that our camps are flexible. 

A: You can pay online at the time of booking which means you can ‘drop and go’ or you can select the offline payment option and pay via card or cash on the first day inside the clubhouse.

Facility FAQs:

A: Yes we share a large car park with Sandylands Sports Centre and we have x2 electric car charging stations.
