These sessions are in small groups and are designed to introduce some fundamental early years development skills in a fun environment. The sessions will introduce multiple skills including; balance, moving, sending and receiving skills. All skills learnt in these sessions will help with a range of different sports not just Tennis.

mini tennis
5-11 years
The Mini Tennis programme caters for 5-11year olds and is suitable for beginners and improvers. Mini Tennis is a fun way to start learning the sport and get a taste for the game. It is played on a smaller court over smaller nets and with slower bouncing balls. The skills that are learnt through the Mini Tennis programme are guaranteed to help a child improve the key skills that are required for most sports.
All equipment is provided.

private lessons
These sessions are much more bespoke as they are on a one-to-one basis, allowing the coach to focus on specific area(s) of improvement. A one to one session can also help a player improve their confidence before entering group sessions. Although the group sessions involve some level of intensity, individual lessons are better suited to those who want a much more intense and targeted lesson.
Alternatively, private lessons can be arranged for a small group of players of a similar standard. This is available for Mini’s, Juniors and Adults.
We have 5 LTA qualified coaches available for Individual Lessons at Skipton Tennis Centre.
