Let's Play Padel!

Skipton Tennis Centre has three padel courts: one outdoor and two canopied. Padel is easy to learn, challenging to master, and a fun, social way to unwind. It complements tennis by blending elements of tennis, squash, and racketball into a fast-paced game played on enclosed courts, both indoors and outdoors, where the walls are part of the action.

Our mission is to provide a fun, inclusive, and social environment that encourages people of all ages and abilities to get active and healthy. Padel is ideal for families and friends alike.

Padel courts are available to book for both members and non-members.

What is Padel?

Padel is largely considered the fastest growing sport in the world.

Padel is usually played in doubles on an enclosed court around 25% smaller than a tennis court. It’s easy to pick up, highly social, and as active as you want it to be.

The scoring is the same as tennis, using slightly lower-compression balls. With a lower entry level than tennis, padel is perfect for beginners or players looking to complement their tennis with another fun racket sport. Ideal for all ages, it’s great for families and friends to enjoy together.
