Skipton Tennis Centre boasts a thriving shop run by the friendly Mark and Cheryl who are both extremely passionate about tennis and very active members of the club.
With over 50 years of experience in local league tennis, Mark and Cheryl have taken great care to stock the Pro Shop with the very latest in rackets, footwear, clothing and bags to suit the needs of all players from beginners to match players.
We stock the latest ranges of rackets from Yonex (including the new Ezone and V Core), Dunlop Srixon (including the CX and CV series), Prince and Pacific. There is always someone on hand to advise the right type of racket to suit your game and we are happy for you to take our demo rackets to try on.
Our extensive range of footwear include brands such as K- Swiss, Yonex and Prince offering tennis shoes for all shapes and sizes of feet.
The clothing ranges include brands such as K-Swiss, Yonex, Prince (Men’s and Ladies) and Pure Lime for Ladies. All our clothing is of the latest moisture absorbent and performance materials for ultimate comfort on court.
Our range of Racket Bags vary from the small 3 racket bag to the tour 12 racket allowing you to choose the bag best suited to your needs.
We endeavour at all times to match internet prices, and we have an extensive range of “Sale” items available throughout the year.
The shop also stocks a wide range of accessories including: Tennis balls, (Dunlop, Slazenger, Yonex and Prince) grips, (replacement and overgrips) headwear, socks, sweatbands, dampeners and much more.
Restringing Service
There is a same day stringing service depending on availability and we are always at the end of the phone (see below for details) to arrange an appointment at your convenience. We are happy to discuss your individual requirements, whether you require comfort, spin, power, control or a combination of these.
We stock strings from: Prince, Pacific, Yonex, Dunlop, Babolat, and Wilson.
As part of our service we also clean the frame and we can also replace (at an extra charge) any damaged bumper strips and grommet sets for rackets from most manufacturers.
